Three Critical Questions

1)The author says that the architecture model offers the concept of extensibility for the PTA service but did not mention in complete view on how it is provided. I question that to what extent and how that concept is accomplished?
2) How the web services are used as components in developing a new web application?
3) How the concept of business logic is implemented?

The author supported the technique of upgrading the PTA Web service and redeploying it. It would be nice if a bunch of requests are received. But if a less number of e-payment application are to be added frequently then it would cost a lot to update the server and redeployment. Is it worth to do so in such conditions.

A single Administration web-service (In web-service enable stage) should authenticate every request from the organization it may be burden and result in loss of efficiency. Each and every transaction should be ATOMIC in this case, this creates much more problems. What methodology is followed if a transaction is not done and when it goes to a deadlock situation?

Does nt it lead to data and identity collision among organizations if PTA facilities are hosted as ASP model with central server for different organizations?

Critical Questions: 1. In the PTA service component of fig 2 PTA user and PTA transaction have been included but the communication between the services has not been mentioned, is the communication possible? As the transaction will be followed by the PTA user authentication. How can the communication be present in between modules within a component?
2. Code mobility (lookup and dynamic binding) between service and consumer is good, but will the service be adaptable to every operating system if at all the service needs to move to an external provider?
3. What does the author tell us finally in the conclusion, does he imply that every application should be made into a web service so that reusability can be exhibited or does he want to imply that web service should be created in order to make it as a parallel development?
4. Can the Pta web service be trusted though the load balancing environment is included?

1. The paper explained in such a manner that the service can only be composed by using SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Does it support other protocols such as TCP/IP that provides more reliability and security or do we need to stick to these protocols and data standards?

2. It was mentioned in the paper that A J2EE based web application code generator is used for code generation. Is it possible to generate the code automatically without any human involvement?

3. As the web service is accessed through the internet, there is a problem of availability at peak traffic situations. Even if an additional band width is provided it may be redundant during low- traffic times. What sort of effective methodologies are used to provide more bands during high traffic intensity, to lower the band during low request loads?

4. The system has PTA service in the centralized server and e-payment system in the customer's system. Is the PTA service designed compatible or independent of the language/ platform used to develop e- payment system?

Group 6:

1)In this paper the author talks about devoloping a Pass through Authentication service in E-payment web service implementation. When PTA service component system receives a request from client for web based e-payment system,PTA should directly allocate the list available webservices. But when new e-payment webservice is built,it should be first publish and register under the PTA.But how a new e-payment webservice knows the information regarding the PTA under which it has to be registered?
2)when the cilent request for particular e-payment service which has some features two different e-payment services, for integration of services both of them are needed.but what if one service is available and other is busy with another request?
3)In the architecture diagram the author describes about front end, middleware and back end systems. In the middle ware all the devolopement is done and it needs to be integrated with back-end database .what if both middle ware and backend are devoloped at a single layer?

Critical Questions:
1. The paper stated that PTA web service uses communication protocols like SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI. Why only these protocols are used to develop and why other are not used?
2. The author has mentioned that the reusability and the extensibility will be incremented over each stage. How this is achieved is not explained.
3. The ASP model allows the users to view the web pages of the e-payment systems which are not necessary for them. In this case, how security can be achieved?

1. It is given that they used SOAP,WSDL,UDDI protocols in stand alone web- services. Can we use the same protocols for multiple web-service communication?
2. This paper didn't discussion anything regarding the interfaces between the web-services. How can we provide interfaces between web-services?
3. This paper describes about architectural model of service oriented system. How can this be implemented using a web based SOA?

1) How PTA is inherited in central management systems?? What if even after PTA's presence it fails?????

2) What is the efficiency level of PTA in intra enterprise level and in inter enterprise level??? How to overcome the disadvantages????

3) Can a system be constructed where in all the developments based on architecture are supported???

4) How application oriented methodologies could be introduced in service oriented systems???

5) There are many areas where trust worthiness is ranked higher?actually what are the criteria to consider a system to be trustworthy????
